Why Do We Charge a Call-Out Fee?
A call-out fee ensures we can attend your location promptly and professionally. It covers the essential operational costs involved in every visit.
1. Travel Costs
We attend jobs in a fully equipped commercial vehicle carrying tools and materials. Travelling longer distances increases operational expenses.
2. Time & Duration
Time spent travelling, waiting in traffic, or dealing with route delays impacts scheduling and business operations.
Our call-out fee remains a fixed price regardless of delays.
3. Fuel Costs
Commercial vehicles consume more fuel than regular cars, especially when carrying tools, equipment and materials.
4. Parking Fees
Many job locations require paid parking. In some cases, day parking is unavoidable and adds to the overall cost of attending a job.
5. No-Job Attendance
Sometimes we travel to a booking and:
The customer does not answer the door
The customer forgets the appointment
Plans change last minute
The job is cancelled on arrival
These situations result in business loss, so the call-out fee helps protect our time and operational costs.
Cancellation Policy
Call-out fees are non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time.
