I am a disabled man in Southampton and often required a little extra help. I have called upon HandyManSouthampton 5 times now and have always been happy with their services. They have been called twice to remove house hold items and they have all their certificates so I knew the waste was going to be removed responsibly. They have also been called twice to trim a tree or two and some hedging that I couldnt reach and they always tidy up after. They have also been called to decorate a room for me as well and I was impressed with the professional results.
Their prices are very fair. I come from a construction background so I make sure everything that is required is detailed and explained but they make sure that their price includes everything described. I have only had to pay extra for a variation once and that was something we both missed so was a reasonable ask but the price for that was also very reasonable.
They are understanding to my financial circumstances and are always happy to help come to an agreement on pricing that suits both parties. They even fitted a toil seat for FREE because, they were "already here and it'll take 5 seconds anyway". They offered me a discount on carting away my latest household items because they were in the area at the time and thought it would save an extra trip. So they most certainly will not nickel and dime every little thing.
They always turn up when they say they will and leave the site tidy and clean. Very professional and easy to deal with. Very friendly and respectful.
After doing work for me five times, I will be calling upon them again for sure. I keep their card on my cork board for easy reach and they are my 'go to' for when I need that little extra help around the house.
