They have been called twice to remove house hold items and they have all their certificates so I knew the waste was going to be removed responsibly. They have also been called twice to trim a tree or two and some hedging that I couldnt reach and they always tidy up after. They have also been called to decorate a room for me as well and I was impressed with the professional results. Their prices are very fair. I come from a construction background so I make sure everything that is required is detailed and explained but they make sure that their price includes everything described. I have only had to pay extra for a variation once and that was something we both missed so was a reasonable ask but the price for that was also very reasonable. They are understanding to my financial circumstances and are always happy to help come to an agreement on pricing that suits both parties. They even fitted a toil seat for FREE because, they were "already here and it'll take 5 seconds anyway". They offered me a discount on carting away my latest household items because they were in the area at the time and thought it would save an extra trip. So they most certainly will not nickel and dime every little thing. They always turn up when they say they will and leave the site tidy and clean. Very professional and easy to deal with. Very friendly and respectful. After doing work for me five times, I will be calling upon them again for sure. Our man & van service starts from a clear hourly rate (for example £60/hour for 1 man + van, £90/hour for 2 men + van). There is a 2-hour minimum and then time is billed in fair 30-minute blocks so you only pay for the time you use.
Fixed prices for items like mattresses, sofas and appliances include collection, loading, transport and disposal where needed. They also include local travel within 5 miles of central Southampton, assuming standard access (ground floor, lift or up to 1st floor stairs).
All fixed bulky-item prices and move packages include travel up to 5 miles each way from central Southampton. After 5 miles we add a simple per-mile charge so longer trips are priced fairly.
After the first 5 miles, we add a clear per-mile fee (for example £1.50 per mile round trip) to cover fuel and travel time. Any mileage charge is always shown on your quote before you confirm the booking.
No. We don’t add surprise call-out fees, “admin” charges or weekend premiums. Any extras like mileage, extra time or difficult access are explained upfront and included in your written quote so you know exactly what you’re paying.

Yes. Heavy or awkward items going up or down stairs need a quick safety check using photos or video. We’ll confirm if we need extra men, extra time or a small per-floor supplement before you book.
We can dismantle and reassemble most beds, wardrobes and flat-pack furniture as part of your move. This is either included in a fixed quote or charged at our standard hourly rate depending on the size and complexity.

Photos and video show us stairs, parking, tight corners and the volume of items. That means we send the right size van and the right number of people, and we can agree a realistic price that doesn’t suddenly change on the day.
For full house or office removals, we recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance. Smaller man & van jobs and single-item collections can often be done same-day or next-day, depending on availability.
Where the schedule allows, we can often fit in same-day or urgent man & van jobs. During very busy periods, emergency handyman, plumbing or electrical work may be prioritised, but we will always tell you what slots are available.
